Roy and I live in a little tourist town in Arkansas. We had a 25 year background in tourism. During that period of time, we owned and operated a franchise restaurant, a motel, a 7-unit bed & breakfast, 2 wedding chapels and a wedding coordinator service. We had over 50 employees running three shifts. We were living an extremely busy life.
We were introduced to Team National by great friends. We saw value to the membership and have saved thousands. We loved the fact that it wasn’t just the major purchases that we needed from time to time, but so many things that were just a part of our daily living. But, I must admit that we got more excited about an additional stream of income. We saw this as a way to create a stream of income with no employees, no inventory, no payroll taxes, no franchise fees, no liability, no big bank note, and no stress. We had all of that with our traditional businesses, but knew that we would not have any of it with Team National.
Even though we had no background in this industry, by the end of the first year, we were beginning to see the income from our businesses replaced. Today, we have replaced the income from all of our businesses and we have retired from traditional business.
Roy and I came on board with Team National July 25, 1997. We had gone for over 15 years without taking a vacation and we had never been on a cruise. Today, we are averaging at least a half dozen vacations a year with our family. We took our first cruise in the fall of 2001 and have taken over 15 more. We have been on average on at least two a year. Praise God we have a new life!
